Naomi Campbell, 91, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025 at Memorial Community Care. 
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Rev. Bob Gannon will officiate.   Interment will be at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant View Bible Church. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made in care of family to be designated at a later date. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com. 
Naomi Mae Campbell, the daughter of Ralph and Leota (Burney) Eigsti was born on Feb. 11, 1934 at Milford, Neb., and passed away on Dec. 3, 2025 at Aurora, Neb., at the age of 91. 
She grew up in Milford and attended school at Milford Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1952. Naomi often worked at the “Northside Café” owned by her mother. After graduating high school she worked at the Continental National Bank in Lincoln until she moved to Aurora after her marriage. 
Naomi married Donald Campbell on Sept. 3, 1955.  They made their home southwest of Aurora, where Naomi was a farm-wife and mother to their two children, Michael and Brenda. Naomi worked for many years at Mo-Nets. 
Naomi treasured her faith and was a prayer warrior. She was a member of Assembly of God Church and Pleasant View Bible Church and also attended Stockham Community Church. She served in many various ways where she was involved in the nursery, Sunday School teacher, women’s ministry, music and the City Christian Women’s Club.   Naomi treasured her monthly “Neighborhood Birthday Club.” She loved all types of sports. She adored all of her grandkids and enjoyed attending all of their activities. She welcomed with open arms her six great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Leota Eigsti and brother, Gerald Eigsti. 
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, Donald of Aurora; son, Michael Campbell of Aurora; daughter, Brenda (Bill) Root of Grand Island; grandchildren, Brigette (Zach) Pettepier of LaVista, Broderic Root of Grand Island, Braedon (Nicole) Root of Lincoln, Brennon (MacKenzi) Root of Lincoln and great-grandchildren, Tayson, Torryn, Callon, Carlyn Pettepier and Henry, Niclynn Root and other extended family and friends. 
Naomi was taken care of so amazingly by the staff at East Park Villa and Memorial Community Care.
