Allison Gimpel

Allison Gimpel, age 24, of Clay Center, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.. Friday, January 27 at Pleasant View Bible Church, 307 Manor Drive in Aurora. Pastor Bob Gannon will officiate. The service will be livestreamed on the Pleasant View Bible Church’s website.  Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetary. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made in care of the family to be designated at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Allison Grace Gimpel, the daughter of Gregory R. and Leanne G. (Bourg) Gimpel, was born in Aurora, on July 23, 1998 and passed away in Clay Center, on January 19, 2023, at the age of 24.
Allison grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School. She went on to graduate from Grand Island Central Community College with an Associates Degree in Art. Allison had worked as a dietary aide at Memorial Community Care and Westfield Quality Care both in Aurora and most recently The Heritage at College View in Hastings.
Allison loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, painting and photography and had an unending love for animals.
Allision was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, George L. Bourg and paternal grandparents, Robert A. and Dianne J. Gimpel, all of Aurora.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Greg and Leanne Gimpel of Aurora; maternal grandmother Carolyn G. Bourg of Aurora and several uncles, aunts and cousins; and her closest friends.
