Hauf Obituary
Body

Ronald Gene Hauf, 60, of Lincoln, passed away with family at his side on November 11, 2022.
Born to parents Jimmie and Donna (Ganskow) Hauf on December 10, 1961, in Tilden, he was the third born of 5 siblings.  Ron attended Aurora Schools until he was 18 and then moved to Grand Island  where he touched the lives of everyone he met.
Ron eventually moved to the Lincoln area where he was treated for an infection at Madonna Rehab Hospital.   Ron eventually moved to long term care at Madonna where he lived until his death.  He loved the people there and had lots of people that loved him.  We appreciate all the people at Madonna for the exceptional care and love for Ron.
Ron was an avid Elvis Presley fan and over the years even did an Elvis Impersonation act.  He was such a blessing to his family and brought joy to everyone he knew.  Ron loved to make people laugh and was quite the entertainer like his dad.  He had a special power of only seeing the good in people and loving them unconditionally.  In his earlier years he loved to ride his bike and hang out with family and friends.  He probably held the world record for watching the most Elvis movies especially if you can count the repeats.
Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny (who passed at birth), and Alan Lee Hauf, a sister, Janet Denise Hauf (who passed away exactly 6 months before him), and his parents, Jim and Donna Hauf.
Ronnie is survived by his brother, Thomas (Chase) LeRoy Hauf, sister, Connie Jo Burleigh and many loving nieces and nephews and amazing extended family and friends.
Celebration of Ron Hauf will be on his birthday, December 10, Roper and Sons, at 10:30 a.m.
