A combination of tornadoes and straight-line winds blew through Hamilton County Dec. 15, causing random reports of damage in the area in what weather officials are calling “a historic storm event.” Winds had been forecast to reach as high as 70 mph leading into the day, causing many weather and travel alerts which led to events being postponed or cancelled.
