Hampton village leaders took another step forward last week in efforts to blaze a new trail using the state’s newly created Vacant Property Registry ordinance.
An initial list of nine properties said to potential candidates for action was trimmed down to three, with the village board adopting a resolution at the Oct. 12 meeting to proceed with creating a vacant property registry.
