Plant pick-up, cash and carry set for April 24

With warm weather on the horizon, many people are turning their thoughts to gardening and plants and Hampton Lutheran School is there to help.
Though their pre-sales are done, the school will be offering cash and carry for plants on April 24 from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Hampton Auditorium.
Event coordinator Kim Troester noted that this year’s pre-sales went well despite the smaller student population.
“I was pleasantly surprised,” she said. “$15,000 worth of plant sales was the goal. We sold $15,566 with 12 students. That’s amazing.”
