Crews work on a digging a new basement for a single-family dwelling in the Streeter Subdivision Thursday. Two recently poured basements can be seen in the background, represented three of five buidling permits issued for houses last month.
Warmer weather has helped speed progress in the new Streeter Subdivision, where several foundations were poured this week on the east side of Cottage Park Drive.
Five building permits were issued in November for single-family homes to be built in the new Streeter Subdivision. The project announced last month includes 64 housing lots, with construction on several expected to start as soon as possible.
