Aurora needs more stop lights
Dear Editor:
This letter is for the state of Nebraska Department of Roads.
The Department of Roads have a safety meeting at least one time a week at all their highway shops.
In Aurora on Highways 14 and 34 the heads in Lincoln don’t care about our safety, but they worry about money.
Safety issues in our town are as follows:
* Kids have to run like hell between 1st to 13th and on Highway 34. NO STOPLIGHT. WHY?
* Getting on Highway 34 and Highway 14 at certain times of day is scary.
* Older people on foot are in danger. Wheelchair people are in danger.
* Our school buses have difficulty going out of town in the afternoon.
Why can’t we get more stop lights in our town?
The answer must be our senators and heads of safety in Lincoln Department of Roads DO NOT care, in my opinion. I do not care who doesn’t like my opinion. I will debate this public issue any time here in Aurora with higher ups, not minions.

Aurora
