City declares snow emergency

Mayor Marlin Seeman declared a “Snow Emergency” in the City of Aurora, to be in effect beginning at noon Monday and ending noon Tuesday, Jan 9.
The City of Aurora has declared this snow emergency based on the forecast from the National Weather Service. 
During a snow emergency, motorists are encouraged to limit their travels until the severe weather has diminished and the city streets are cleared.
Parking on emergency snow routes is prohibited during a snow emergency.
