    Giltner Daze dazzles with car show after rainy start

    Giltner Daze shined through despite a rainy start with its first annual car show and other attractions on Saturday. 

     

    Hampton gets its groove on

    Hampton was happening this weekend, wound up as always in early June for its annual Booster Days celebration.
    The theme for Sunday’s grand parade was “Get Your Groove On,” and the community responded with a spirited showing which highlighted the three-day event.

     

    Can Care-A-Van exceeds food drive goal

    After an unusually busy time, the shelves at the Hamilton County Food Pantry in Aurora were starting to look a little bare, according to pantry board member and spokesman Bruce Ramsour. But after last week’s annual Can Care-A-Van campaign, even the back stock room at the rear of the facility is nearly filled again. In fact, Ramsour says the Care-A-Van met and exceeded its goal for this year of 20,000 pounds of food.
