Concert coming to Hordville April 1
Banana Rams owner Justin Blase is holding a concert at the Hordville Event Center featuring opening act Tim Buck Too and main act country singer Logan Mize on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
All 350 tickets have been sold, according to Blase, which means close to 400 people will crowd in with bartenders and security at the center.
Early Childhood Development event gets ‘bigger’ reception
The Early Childhood Development Event at the Farr Building at the fairgrounds Saturday was back bigger than ever for its second year, attracting 38 families and a total of 145 people, up from 100 attendees last year in the smaller Ag Building.
Sold out under the sea
The curtain finally came up on AHS’s presentation of “The Little Mermaid” this week with cast and crew members agreeing that the thrill of four sold-out performances was all worth the three months of tireless preparation leading up to opening night. Director Jason Frew said it was a long, emotional journey and that he was pleased with the final performances and proud of everyone involved.
