Hospital board members volunteer to help run store

The Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will make a trial run Saturday, opening the doors to its popular Thrift Shop in hopes of providing easier access to members of the community who may not be able to come during regular weekday hours.
The prospect of opening for Saturday hours has been talked about since the facility was expanded in 2019, but was put on hold during a year marked by COVID challenges. With Auxiliary volunteers now preparing to clear out the winter inventory to make room for spring items, members of both the hospital foundation and operational boards thought the time was right, thus offered to provide additional manpower.
