For the first time ever, the Ag Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds will play host to what has been dubbed the “Early Childhood Event.”
The event, set to welcome the public April 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is the brain-child of a number of interested community members and is being coordinated with help from Lisa Kluck, Aurora Sixpence family consultant.
According to Kluck, the reason for the events being is two-fold.
“(One) reason we are wanting to do this is just to be able to gather anyone in Hamilton county that has any services they provide for the birth to (age) five population,” she explained. “It’s just a good opportunity for those resources to be able to promote their resources, get their name out there and then be able to explain what they do.”
Even in her position through Sixpence, Kluck voiced, she often finds new services that even she wasn’t aware of. This will offer a unique opportunity to gather any and all resources that would benefit the mentioned age group in one place for the community to explore.
“It’s an opportunity for those services to be able to showcase what they provide for families in Hamilton County,” Kluck added. “But then also an opportunity for those families in Hamilton County.”
