Area resident Angela Adams has officially stepped in as the new Hamilton County planning and zoning administrator.
This comes on the heels of a vacancy in the position created when previous administrator Jeremy Brandt moved to take the Hamilton County highway superintendent slot.
Adams and her husband, Jeff, have nine children and currently call Marquette their home.
“I graduated from Northwest Community College in 1991,” she began.
While there she studied nursing and office management.
“I (also) have construction experience,” she said. “I worked for a construction company for quite a long time and then we moved to Marquette and I took over the clerk position over there. And then this position came open and the rest is history.”
Asked what she brought to the planning and zoning table, Adams was quick to report that she approaches the position with “fresh eyes and enthusiasm.”
“I love working with the public,” she added.
