Aurora’s community charm prompts return visit from Florida

Dear Editor:
We have visited Aurora many times and our first was during the 2019 A’ROR’N Days.
Aurora’s charm has prompted our return when we travel, however this time we are traveling with a celebrity.
Our traveling companion and pet (A rescued Silkie Rooster) somehow made a news article!
Elvis the Seagoing Silkie lives on our sailboat when we are not traveling by motor home.
After recovering from two hurricanes we stored the sailboat and headed north for a needed vacation break and Elvis has been our traveling companion now for almost two years.
We wish to thank the people of Aurora for providing Streeter Park which enabled us to become acquainted with your charming town!
