Aurora farmer Mitch Oswald has been busy with more than the normal goings on for the last year and a half.
Named part of the Nebraska LEAD (Leadership Education/ Action Development) class for 2021-23, Oswald is part of the 40th group to go through this agricultural leadership development program and has reportedly been enjoying as much as he can.
“It’s an opportunity for young or middle-aged ag producers or business men or women to gain leadership experience and network with a group of people that you probably wouldn’t normally come into contact with,” he explained.
Nebraska LEAD 40 has allowed Oswald and roughly 25 other individuals to get together for a number of unique seminars throughout the year, designed to introduce them to all facets of agriculture, leadership and more.
