For one weekend a field in Wood River becomes a hive of activity as vendors, farmers, students and more gather to see the latest innovations in the agriculture industry. While the field may be empty this year, the show goes on with a virtual combination of Husker Harvest Days and the Farm Progress Show.
Matt Jungmann, national events director for the Farm Progress Show, noted that they did have a plan to host a live combined event, but after receiving feedback from volunteers and exhibitors at both shows it was decided to go virtual.
