Terry Lee Addison, 59, of Denver Colorado died as a result of a traffic accident on Interstate 70, near Vail Colorado, on Nov. 26.
Funeral services will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 415 South 18th Street in Aurora,  on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m.  Rev. Sarah Ruch will officiate.  Family visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Messiah Lutheran Church.  Private family burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery.  Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.

Rosella G. “Rosi” Nelson, 84, of Lincoln, died on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019 at High Plains Assisted Living in Lincoln.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Monroe Evangelical Free Church near Marquette with Rev. Joe Mullarkey officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9-11 a.m.  Burial will be at the Mamre Church Cemetery near Marquette at 2 p.m.

Virginia (Ginny) Boyden

Virginia (Ginny) Josephine Boyden, age 87, died at home peacefully in Golden, CO, on Nov. 23, 2019.
She was born in Hamilton County, to Harold and Gladys (Christenson) Wolff. Survivors include her husband, John Boyden, her children, Tarki (Mercy) Boyden, Torri (John) Raine, and Ted (Sinaro) Boyden, sisters Shirley Weedin and Thelma (Dick) Carlson, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia went to Country School District 56, graduated from Aurora High School in 1949, and from Lincoln School of Commerce in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, John Boyden, in 1952 at Elmendorf Air Force Base near Anchorage, Alaska. They lived in the Territory of Alaska, and in several states, Nebraska, Colorado, Indiana and Ohio, before moving back to Colorado.
Virginia loved her family, her garden, reading, sewing and traveling, especially with John on their motorcycle. She will be greatly missed.

Delmer Friesen, age 79, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Aurora United Methodist Church.  Rev. Greg Reed will officiate.  Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, at Aurora United Methodist Church, 1104 A Street. Delmer Dean Friesen, the son of Frank O. and Marie Mary (Goertzen) Friesen, was born in York County, on Oct. 11, 1940 and passed away in Omaha, on Nov. 24, 2019, at the age of 79.

Norma Friesen, age 92, of Hastings, formerly of Aurora, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 at Edgewood Assisted Living Memory Care in Hastings.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 25 at Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson. Rev. Seth Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethesda Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Sunday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Norma Jean Friesen, the daughter of Andrew Harmon and Rennie Oma (Lacey) Harmes, was born at home on a farm near Deshler, on April 30, 1927 and passed away in Hastings, on Nov. 21, 2019, at the age of 92.

Roselia “Rosie” Mary Stanislav, 92, of Grand Island, formerly of Central City and Aurora, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at Good Samaritan Center in Grand Island.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City.  Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Rosie was born on Oct. 15, 1927 to Edward Michael and Mary Eleanor (Halstead) McMahon west of Central City in “Irish” town.  She attended Central City Schools graduating from Central City High School in 1944.  She then attended Nebraska Central College in Central City.

Teresa Dee Nelson

Teresa Dee Nelson, 54, of Robbinsdale, MN formerly of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at Good Samaritan Society in Robbinsdale.
The memorial service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Golv and Rev. Ale Tulu officiating. Interment will be at Satersdal Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Teresa Dee Nelson was born Sept. 14, 1965 at Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Robert and Sandra (Joppru) Nelson. She was baptized Nov. 21, 1965 and confirmed May 3, 1981 at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Teresa attended Northrop Elementary School, Franklin Middle School and Lincoln High graduating in 1984. She attended NDSU at Fargo, ND and graduated with an Interior Design Degree.

Margaret Goossen

Margaret Lucille Goossen, age 96 of Henderson, died Friday, November 8, 2019 at Henderson. She was born February 12, 1923 to John and Gertrude Newlon Griffis in Joplin, Missouri.  She spent the first 23 years of her life in Joplin, where she graduated from Joplin High School. She then worked in a Defense Plant and at a Telephone Office as an operator.
In her teens, she asked the Lord into her heart and became a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. In 1947 she was married to Daniel C. Goossen and moved to Nebraska to the farm that they lived on for 35 years. They had three children, Patsy Kay, Linda Cheryl and Steven Wayne and in 1983 retired and moved to a home in Henderson. They were married for 70 years and served the Lord faithfully in the Mennonite Brethren Church and also supported several missionaries in Japan.

Mary (Colborn) Axelson

Mary Etoile (Colborn) Axelson passed away peacefully with her daughters at her side on November 9, 2019, at the Valley View Senior Village, Ord, two days following her 95th birthday.
Service in Mary’s honor will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Mary was born to Hannah (Clarke) and Ben Colborn of Palmer, on Nov. 7, 1924.  Mary attended elementary school at District 31 in Merrick County.  She attended high school for 3 years at Central City High School, and one year at Fullerton High, where she graduated in 1942.  Mary attended one year of college at Nebraska Christian College of Central City.
On June 2, 1943 Mary married Robert Held this union was blessed with six children.
