Everett Heiser

Everett Heiser, 88, of Aurora, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at the Henderson Care Center.
Funeral services were held Aug. 19 at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.  Pastor Jim Voth officiated. Private family burial was in the Aurora Cemetery. Everett Adam Heiser, the son of Adam and Margaret (Heiser) Heiser, was born in Aurora, on Aug. 15, 1926.
 Everett grew up in Stockham and attended school through the 8th grade. He then began farming on the family farm.
 He was united in marriage to Nina Friesen in Henderson,  on Aug. 18, 1950. Following their marriage they farmed in the Aurora area until his retirement. He then worked for the Aurora Post Office and the FSA Office for many years.
He was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church.

Billy Dean Schultz

Billy Schultz, 74, of Central City, formerly of Aurora, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at the Central City Care Center.
A public visitation was held at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Rev. Maylon Richardson officated. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery. A memorial established in Bill’s name will be designated at a later date. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
Billy (Bill) Dean Schultz, the son of Albert and Pearl (Elwick) Schultz, was born in Doniphan, Nebraska, on June 18, 1940.
He grew up in the Doniphan, Giltner and Phillips areas and attended school in those communities. He graduated from Phillips High School with the class of 1957.

Shirley Krabiel

Shirley Krabiel, 84, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Hamilton Manor.
 Funeral services were held Aug. 4 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Rev. Ron Harris officiated. Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery.  Visitation was on Sunday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.  Memorials may be made to the Aurora United Methodist Church.  Shirley Ann Krabiel, the daughter of Clifford and Iva (Stewart) Cramer, was born in Polk, on Dec. 22, 1929. She grew up in Polk and graduated from Polk High School.

Henry Joedeman

Henry Joedeman, 85, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Ambassador of Lincoln. He never recovered from his surgery from a fall and head trauma.
Funeral services were held July 31 at Gandy Community Bible Church in Gandy. Rev. Brian Pielstick and Rev. Frank Scott officiated. Burial was at McCain’s Cemetery. Visitation was held July 30 at the Arnold and Mullen Funeral Home in Arnold.
Henry Joedeman was born 85 years ago to William and Fern (Thomlinson) Joedeman. He graduated from high school in Gandy. He later went to Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College. He served 13 years in the Army and Air Force combined. He worked as a mechanic and owned his own shop. He pastured churches in Gandy; Sedona, Ariz., Chula Vista, Calif., Cushing, Okla. and Central City.

Lois Mason

Lois I. Mason, 76, of Central City, died at Long Term Care in Central City on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Memorial services will be Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Solt Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Janet Burgel officiating. Burial will be in the Central City Cemetery. William 'Bill' Cleon Clark

William “Bill” Cleon Clark, 78, of Aurora died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at The Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Grand Island.
Burial will take place at private graves ide services at Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek, Iowa. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to be sent to the family.
 Bill was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include Audrey, of Aurora, his three daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle Clark of Tucson, Ari., Pamela Mier of Phoenix, Ari., and Karen and Rod Havens of Aurora; a son, William Clark Jr. of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.; 10 grandchildren: Matthew, Wade, Joshua, Kylee, Jacob, Jenna, Collin, Jarrett, Jayson and Erin; and one great granddaughter, Josilin.
