Lonne Hoselton, 46, of Marquette, died on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Memorial Community Care in Aurora.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Revs. Ben and Courtney Erzkus will officiate.  \Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was on Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2174 North T Road.
The family requests casual attire for the services. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary at www.higbymortuary.com.
Lonne Ray Hoselton, the son of Delbert and Penny (Whitworth) Hoselton, was born in Grand Island on Nov. 10, 1969. Lonne grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Northwest High School in 1988. He worked at Dowd’s in Alda.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Davis officiating. Marjorie Smith

Marjorie Smith, age 90, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
 Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 14 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Rev.  Marjorie Jean Smith, the daughter of Carl and Verna (Adams) Sanderson, was born at Marquette, on September 2, 1926 and passed away in Aurora, on September 10, 2016, at the age of 90.
 Marge’s childhood was spent in Marquette where she attended country school.  The family then moved to Grand Island where she finished her schooling and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1944.  Following her graduation she worked at SYA Café in Aurora.

Ralph W. Peters, 83 of Henderson, died on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Memorial Community Care in Aurora.
Visitation with the family present will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York and then from 5 to 8 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Pastor Mike Neidow will officiate. Private family burial will take place prior to the service in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Ralph was born on August 27, 1933 in Worms, son of Willie and ElVera (Bader) Peters.

Marilyn A. Lewandowski

Marilyn A. Lewandowski, 79, of Omaha, formerly of Ansley, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Immanuel Fontenelle in Omaha.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 at St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church in Loup City. The Rev. Richard L. Piontkowski will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Arcadia Cemetery in Arcadia.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, with a 6 p.m. vigil service.
Peters Funeral Home of Loup City is assisting the family.
Mrs. Lewandowski was born April 7, 1937, on the family farm east of Arcadia, the daughter of Chester H. and Mary C. (Evans) Parker.
As a child, Marilyn enjoyed playing paper dolls with her sister, Alice, and swimming in the irrigation canals and river. As a teenager she enjoyed attending movies and loved country music and dances.
She attended Arcadia Public Schools where she was a good student and was the Drum Majorette.

Madalyn Marie "Maddy" Spellman

Madalyn Marie “Maddy” Spellman, 13, of Aurora left this earth for her heavenly home on Monday, September 5, 2016.
Celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at Aurora Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Maddy was born on September 13, 2002 in Aurora, the daughter of Corey and Tammy (Hansen) Spellman.  She grew up in Aurora, just beginning her freshman year at Aurora High School.
Maddy’s zest for life knew no bounds.  She loved sports, including softball, volleyball and basketball.  Maddy was always there cheering on her brothers at their sport events.  A great little trap shooter, she was a member of the “Crooked Creek Trap Team”.  2015 was her first year hunting and she got her buck!  Told she was the fastest girl on the Go-Kart track, a special friend built Maddy her very own go-kart.

Donald Edward Lampshire, 80, of Central City, formerly of Hordville, died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Litzenberg Hospital in Central City.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 4 p.m. at the Hordville Event Center with Pastor Ford Shenk and Rev Darryl Kenney officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, September 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City.  Interment will be at the Hordville Cemetery.

Janice Crouse, 81, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Aurora, died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at Renaissance Healthcare, in Millsboro, Del.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at the chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary, 1404 L St, Aurora, Nebraska 68818. Burial will be at Aurora Cemetery. Janice Eileen Crouse, daughter of Cleon and Arletta Wamsley was born at Barada, Nebraska on Sunday, Nov. 4, 1934.
Ms. Crouse was an artist who enjoyed sketching in her free time. She was especially proficient with water colors and oil painting. She also liked reading and going to her Bible study group.
Ms. Crouse was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
