Neoma Stubbe Ohlin

Neoma Stubbe Ohlin, age 77, of Aurora, formerly of Hastings, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018, in Aurora after a yearlong courageous fight with cancer.
Neoma’s wishes were to be cremated and no services.  A private family inurnment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings.  Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.  Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
Neoma Jeanne Stubbe Ohlin, the daughter of Gerhard and Beulah (Schmidt) Stubbe, was born at home in Hastings, on March 16, 1941, and passed away in Aurora, on May 18, 2018, at the age of 77.

David J. Frauendorfer

The life of David J. Frauendorfer will be celebrated on Saturday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at the Marquette Fire Hall. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate memories of him. Home for Funerals, Norfolk, is in charge of arrangements.
David J. Frauendorfer, proud father and grandfather, succumbed to the effects of ALS on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Madison, at the age of 62.

Nadine Lula Davis

Nadine Lula Davis, 88, of Ventura, Calif. passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018.
She was born December 8, 1929 at Hayes Center, to John and Lula Winters Yonker. She graduated from Phillips High School in Phillips May, 1947. She was a Ventura County resident for over 50 years, coming from Portland, OR and worked for the County of Ventura Child Support Division for 24 years as a Family Consultant. Nadine was a member of Santa Paula Road Runners and Oxnard Romping Stampers Square Dance Clubs.

Leon Bricker Graves

Leon Bricker Graves, age 72, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2018, at home from renal failure.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, May 14 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora.  Rev. Sarah Ruch and Pastor Jim Garfield will officiate.  Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery, with military honors.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton County Ambulance Service.  Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
Leon Bricker Graves was born September 24, 1945, at home in Tellico Plains, Tennessee to James Farley and Dora Winnie Mae (Shadden) Graves and passed away in Aurora, on May 9, 2018, at the age of 72.

Sterling Stolpe, age 61, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at his home.
The family will hold a Private Service per Sterling’s wishes.   Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, May 13 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1420 9th Street in Aurora, with a Wake to follow.  Rev. Sterling William Stolpe, the son of Paul and Janet (Voss) Stolpe, was born in Laurel, on March 6, 1957 and passed away in Aurora, on May 9, 2018, at the age of 61.

Theresa (Traci) L. Wiese

Celebration of life service for Theresa L. Wiese “Traci”, 53, of Norfolk will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Norfolk. Officiating the service will be Pastor Caleb Lind. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Friday at First Baptist Church in Norfolk. Theresa died Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Bergan Mercy Medical Clinic in Omaha. Stonacek Funeral Chapel of Norfolk is in charge of the arrangements.
Theresa L. “Traci” Wiese, daughter of Edmond and Joyce (Thompson) Ferry, was born Oct. 30, 1964, in Lincoln. She attended Pierce High School and Norfolk High School. She then went on to receive her registered nursing degree from Northeast Community College.

Matt Campbell, age 49, of Aurora, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at his home after a courageous battle against cancer.

Matt Emil Campbell, the son of Keith and Rosanna (Larson) Campbell, was born in Holdrege, on January 14, 1969 and passed away in Aurora, on May 5, 2018, at the age of 49.
Matt moved with his family to Aurora at a young age and graduated from Aurora High School in 1987.

Laurine Bell

Laurine Bell, age 93, of Aurora, formerly of Giltner passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 11 at the Stockham Community Church. Rev. Paul Nauman will officiate. Interment will be in the Giltner Cemetery, prior to the service. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Laurine Anna Bell, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Dahlke) Johnson, was born in Phillips, on January 4, 1925 and passed away in Aurora, on May 4, 2018, at the age of 93.
Laurine grew up in Doniphan and graduated from Doniphan High School in 1942.

Lela B. Knuth

Lela B. Knuth, age 94, of York, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at York.
She was born February 19, 1924 southwest of Utica, to Joseph and Bertha (Hennings) Schmidt.  On October 5, 1947 she was married to Clarence A. Knuth at Utica. Together they farmed near Utica till the spring of 1954 when they moved to a farm which was her home till May of 1988. She then moved to York where she was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church. Lela loved to quilt, tend to her garden, crocheting and raised chickens as an active farm wife. Her specialty was making Angel Food cakes for her family. She also enjoyed the York Senior Center, was an avid recycler, sewed her families clothing, canned most of her garden produces and was a hard worker her whole life.

Dorothy Richardson Luff

Dorothy Richardson Luff of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away at Fort Worth, Texas on April 20, 2018 at 2:20 a.m.
Funeral Services were held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church of Grand Prairie.
Interment was held at DFW National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25,2018.
Dorothy was born December 20, 1924 in Foss, OK to Nicholas and Nellie Pearl (Gillispie) Richardson.
She was raised in Foss and graduated from Foss High School and later, Clinton Nursing School.
She met and married a handsome military man, Eugene F. Luff, and they traveled the world together. Dottie was proud to call herself a military wife, spending time in several locations in the United States, plus many countries in Europe and the Middle East.
