Families reunited at MCC

It’s been emotional time for in-person family reunions at Memorial Community Care in Aurora as the long-term care facility was able to open its doors and welcome in visitors after four long months of pandemic-driven isolation.
“Everybody was just so excited,” said Tina Buckhalter, MCC’s director of nursing. “Those first visits when we had them come in the door there were tears, not only from residents and family members, but from the staff as well. It was just so amazing to see.”
