Shining a light on first responders

Community members shed a little light, and love, on the area’s first responders, medical personnel and law enforcement officers April 22 as part of the Be the Light 2020 program.
Aurora High School Principal Doug Kittle explained that Aurora is one of many schools throughout the state and nation participating in the Beacon of Light program to honor students. The football field lights are being turned on for four consecutive weeks on Wednesdays at 8:20 p.m., staying on for 20 minutes and 20 seconds as a way to show support for the Class of 2020.
