4R making plans for big ticket items

Monday’s 4R District board meeting consisted of many big-ticket plans to aid in the growth of the district, including the approval of a design/build contract for expansion of the performing arts classrooms, as well as a new face to the high school entrance.
According to Supt. Damon McDonald, the projects will be financed by utilizing the district’s building fund. This means no public vote will be required. The project’s estimated cost, for all changes, sits at $2 million. Full story in this week's print or e-editions.
