Grain Weevil prototype getting rave reviews

A father and son team of robotics enthusiasts were giddy with excitement March 7 after watching their prototype invention, the Grain Weevil, scurry across the top of a loaded grain bin, moving corn with wheels made out of small augers.
The goal, Chad and Ben Johnson agree, is for their ag-based robot to churn just enough corn at the top of a potentially dangerous pile to break down a “grain bridge” and prevent farm hands from having to put themselves in harm’s way.
