Parsons taking pole vault talents to Loper track

Once Jarrett Parsons puts his mind to something, it’s pretty difficult to tell him “no” or “can’t happen.”
Parsons wanted to help the Osceola-High Plains Stormdogs win a state title. They did.
After going 0-2 at the state wrestling championships as a junior, Parsons promised himself he’d earn a medal as a senior. Third place.
Before he even got to high school, he looked up at the track and field record board and saw Trey Engel’s name on the pole vault list. He wanted to change that -- and did.
