Two Huskies successfully moved through the first two rounds of consolation matches early Friday morning.

Kolby Wessels at 160 and Aaron Jividen at 285 each picked up two wins Friday morning and move on to tonight's festivitites, with a shot at a potential medal on the line.

Wessels won a 4-0 decison over York's Chase Cotton and followed that up with a 3-1 win over Alex Anthony of McCook. The Husky senior will face off with Sam Moore of Central City to try and secure a medal.

As for Jividen, the sophomore picked up a pinfall victory over Ethan Libich of Gothenburg before defeating Columbus Lakeview's Bradyn Kucera by a 6-3 decision. It was the fourth time Jividen and Kucera had squared off this season as now they have each won twice over the other. Jividen will take on David Hernandez of Ralson tonight with a medal opportunity on the line.

As for Jeremy Oswald, Mack Owens and Kole Fiala, they each lost matches in the second round of consolations, ending their respective seasons.
