Hampton FFA students offer online delivery at Home Show

Hampton FFA students not only served up lunch and snacks during the weekend’s Hamilton County Home & Garden Show, they offered delivery service to vendors through a mobile app designed to let them stay on the job.
Joel Miller, the chapter’s advisor, reported that the program was a success in its third year at the Home Show, generating nearly $300 in online sales.
“The fair board had received some comments that vendors want to eat, but they don’t want to leave their booth because they might miss out on some business,” Miller explained. “I know some other home shows have offered this so they came to us and asked if it was something we could do.”
