Aurora nearly doubled its offensive output in its first two games during the first win of the year Friday night.

Behind Nate Boerkircher's 19 points, the Huskies took care of Columbus Lakeview at home, 59-44.

Aurora hit six three-pointers on the night as they took a 20-21 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back.

Behind Boerkircher's 19 points, Tate Nachtigal added 13 off the bench for Aurora.

The Huskies host Class A's Lincoln Southwest Saturday before a showdown with York next Friday.
