Hornets too much for Storm in opener

Giltner had a one-game head start heading into Friday’s early-season CRC battle with High Plains and hit the court running to build an early, insurmountable lead.
A night after falling to Harvard 52-36, the Hornets exploded with 15 first-quarter points and built a 28-7 lead at the half.
“Overall it was a lot better game,” said Giltner coach Jordan Ortmeier. “I was excited to see the boys rebound from a tough loss last night.”
