At one point, the Aurora girls trailed Wahoo 23-11 in the second quarter. They led 27-25 with 2:25 left in the third. Unfortunately for Aurora, the Lady Huskies couldn't quite hang on.

Wahoo powered back out front and held off another late Aurora run to win 40-37.

Aurora led 33-30 early in the fourth when Wahoo went on a 9-1 run to go up 39-34 with 47 seconds to go.

From there, Aurora got within three at 40-37 after a Jaylee Schuster make with 17 seconds left.

Aurora forced a turnover and had a Cassidy Knust long three at the buzzer with a chance to tie, but the shot was partially blocked.

Knust led the team with 12 points while Kassidy Hudson added eight.

Aurora will be at home again on Friday, taking on Columbus Lakeview.
