Three weeks into the 2019 season, Osceola-High Plains was 1-2 and searching like mad for new life.
The Stormdogs not only found new life, but rattled off 10 wins in a row en route to a Class D1 state championship. 
How did they do it? That depends on who you ask. 
OHP co-coach Greg Wood praised the players for believing in the system and doing what was asked of them every step of the way. 
“We just needed to get the team to believe and play for the team,” Wood explained. “Playing for the name on the chest. Once they figured that out, that was the mindset.”
