Baylor Scheierman played his first collegiate minutes in his home state Friday night as South Dakota State visited Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Former Aurora Husky put up six points, eight rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes off the bench for the Jackrabbits. However, it was Nebraska who picked up its first win of the season, 90-73 over SDSU. The Jackrabbits fall to 3-2 on the year.

So far in five games this season, Scheierman has played in every game, averaging nearly 24 minutes and eight points per game along with over six boards. He's second on the team in three-pointers made while making 70 percent of his free throws.
