Danica Badura knew for quite some time where she was playing her collegiate golf. Wednesday afternoon, she finally got to make it official.

The senior Husky and 2019 Class B champion signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and golf careers at the University of South Dakota.

Badura, recently named the Nebraska Golf Association's girls golfer of the year, turned in a two-day total of 145 at this year's state golf meet, which ties for the seventh best 36-hole total in Nebraska girls high school golf history.

Badura won every meet she played in her senior year, with a cumulative 21-under par total. The state tournament title was her 22nd career high school win.
