Aurora and Giltner have each qualified for their respective volleyball district final matchups with tickets to state on the line.

The Lady Huskies (18-16) will play in the B-8 district final as the No. 9 seed and travel to No. 8 Hastings (20-11) Saturday with first serve set for 2:30 p.m. Aurora and Hastings have played twice this season with each team winning once. Back on Oct. 10, Hastings defeated the Lady Huskies at Aurora in four sets. Last Tuesday, Aurora swept the Tigers in B-6 subdistrict play. It all sets up a winner-take-all rubber match with the victor qualifying for state and the loser's season coming to an end.

As for Giltner (20-10) the Lady Hornets will play in the D2-7 district final as the No. 10 seed and play No. 7 Nebraska Christian (21-6) Saturday at Grand Island Senior High at 5 p.m. Giltner and Nebraska Christian have not played each other this season, but the Eagles have only lost to three D2 schools this season. The other three losses came against Class B's Platteview, C1's Adams Central and C1's Columbus Lakeview. Nebraska Christian has won 9 of its last 11 games coming into Saturday's matchup with Giltner.
