Stormdogs dominate line of scrimmage in rivalry contest

Friday’s Osceola/High Plains-Cross County rivalry game was as old school as it gets.
Bone-rattling hits, tight formations and playbooks that would make ‘run the ball’ guy thrilled.
The Stormdogs had no problem running the ball, totaling nearly 400 yards on the ground for a second straight week in a 52-18 win over Cross County. What’s more, the Stormdogs didn’t throw a single pass all night.
OHP co-coach Greg Wood had plenty of praise for those on the offensive line who helped create big holes in the trenches.
“The offensive line was physical and played well,” Wood noted. “We took a lot of pride in that. When we make those runs, it’s because of them.”
