Badura, Lady Huskies set new records at Lakeview Invite

It was a record-breaking day for golf Thursday in Columbus, where Danica Badura posted a new school record 63 and the Lady Huskies carded the lowest team score in the program’s history to win the meet with a 344.
Playing a par-70 Quail Run Golf Course modified for tournament play due to damage caused during the March floods, the Lady Huskies took advantage of the opportunity to go low with every girl on the team posting a career-best score.
“We are really pleased with that,” coach Rick Bell commented. “That’s the lowest that’s ever been shot by an Aurora girls team, at least in the history I have. It was a really good day.”
