Community meetings planned in Hampton

With a decision on how to proceed with the Hawk football program due by Nov. 1, the Hampton School Board announced plans Monday to host community meetings to share facts and information about available options.

The Hawks have traditionally played 8-man football, but opted to play 6-man ball for the 2018-19 seasons. The Nebraska School Activities Administration (NSAA) will determine football schedules for the next two years in November, thus all schools must announce their plans moving forward by Nov. 1.
