Citizen raises questions on Hampton village budget

Hampton Village Board members approved an 11.5 budget increase for the coming year Monday night, explaining the changes in detail to a local patron who shared thoughts and concerns during a 20-minute public hearing.
Karen Bamesberger of Hampton said she reviewed the proposed 2019-20 budget page by page and had a number of questions for the board, beginning with total resources available.
According to budget document published as a public notice, the village is increasing its total resources available from $1,286,574 to $1,438,519.
