Area rescuers receive grain entrapment training

The Hamilton County Fairgrounds played host to a large and in-charge guest Aug. 20, in the form of a state-of-the-art grain bin entrapment trailer and its instructors from Oklahoma State University.
“The program you are seeing is part of the Susan P. Harwood grant,” said Caroline Reed, assistant director of the OSU Fire Service Training program. “We have been the official grantees in the grain bin entrapment area for the past seven years. This is all about grain bin entrapment and hazardous communications.”
