Danica Badura made a statement that it's state championship or bust in her final high school season with a personal and school record score Friday.

The Aurora senior shot a 65 at the Seward Country Club, seven-under par (eight birdies and one bogey) to easily won the Seward Invite.

Badura started the round on fire, carding three birdies in her first three holes and eventually shot a 34 through nine. If that wasn't enough, she went on to post a 31 with five birdies on the back nine to win in dominating fashion.

Badura's previous best score was a 68 over the summer at the girls match play qualifier at Awari Dunes. She also improved on her own school record with Friday's record-setting performance.

Other scores from the Aurora team included: Taryn Smith, 96; Emily Pedersen, 98; Riley Darbro, 106; Hannah Pedersen, 122.

Aurora will be back in action Sept. 6 in the York Invite.
