Aurora native Gary Ross carves out a life-long hobby

Gary Ross started down a road that would lead to a new found passion more than 20 years ago in Columbus, where he made a friend square dancing.
“I found out that he did carving and I thought about it,” Gary said. “I remember back in the days when I was a Cub Scout and we learned how to carve a figure in a bar of soap and it was a bear. I thought that was fun, but after I saw him doing things I thought I always wanted to try, I got a set of knives and started.”
