Toy Library begins lending process

The Aurora Toy Library entered new territory Saturday with its first official lending event where more than 300 toys were available after months of planning, collecting and sorting.
Co-coordinators Caleigh Heeg and Bre Snyder were joined by other volunteers at the Alice Farr Library, where toys were put on display for a three-hour lending event. Approximately 40 toys were checked out in the debut run, though Heeg is hopeful that number will continue to grow as the word gets out in the community.
