Retirements and new hires bring changes to High Plains

With the end of the school year High Plains Community schools is looking at a change in faculty.
Dianne L’Heurex submitted her resignation with the plans to retire. The other staff member leaving HPC is Kathryn Zeller, who is moving to a new school. Both resignations were approved by all present.
To fill the vacant positions the school board has hired three new staff members.
Brittany Dose will be the new 4-6 grade science and social studies teacher. This will be the first year of teaching for the Hampton native and recent college graduate.
Anna Combs will be joining the High Plains team as the new Spanish teacher.
The final change was the hiring of Abby Kuhn as the alternate education and family consumer science teacher. Her hiring is contingent on her being released from her contract with Central City.
