Huskies stay alive in B-6 subdistrict

The Aurora boys soccer team exacted revenge on a York team that defeated them earlier in the year while keeping its season alive Tuesday night in the B-6 subdistrict semifinals played at Doane University in Crete.

The Huskies, like they have in all five of its victories this season, pitched a shut out against the Dukes with a 3-0 win to end York's season and earn a date in the B-6 subdistrict finals.

Aurora took a 1-0 lead in the first half with a Zac Mohr goal before the Huskies added two more scores off corner kicks in the second half with goals from Titan Collazo and Dominic Foged.

The stage is set for the B-6 subdistrict finals Thursday night with top-seeded Crete, who won its match against Seward 4-0. That match begins at 7 p.m. Thursday night at Doane.
