Football was back in Nebraska, even for just one weekend.

Former Huskies and current Husker football players Austin Allen and Todd Honas each earned a chunk of reps during Nebraska's Spring Game Saturday at Memorial Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd.

The duo played for the Red squad, which earned the 24-13 win over the White team. Allen and Honas were each active in the passing game, combining for five receptions and 93 yards.

Both Aurora natives also played on various special teams and were happy with how spring ball came to a close.

Look for complete interviews with both players as well as insights from Richard Rhoden and Dave Bradley.
