David Haack, age 57, of Harvard, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25 at the chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.  Rev. Greg Reed will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.  No Visitation.  Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later date.  Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com.
David Wayne Haack, the son of Jerry, Sr. and Phyllis (Butterbaugh) Haack, was born in Hastings, on March 27, 1961 and passed away in Hastings, on Feb. 21, 2019, at the age of 57.
David grew up in Hastings and Hampton.  He attended school in Hampton.
David married Robin Anderson on Dec. 31, 1984.  They had three children: Amanda, Theresa and Steven.  They later divorced.
David enjoyed fishing, gaming, spending time with his grandchildren and family, and was a child at heart.  He was very proud of raising his three children and that was his life’s work.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and uncles, Bobby Scribner and Stan Haack, Sr.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his three children, Amanda (RJ) Barber of Bellevue, Theresa Haack and Chris Frink of York and Steven (Brianna) Haack of York; 8 grandchildren, Isaiah Barber, Erin Frink, Jacob Frink, Kylee Kling, Kelsey Haack, Karlie Haack, Aubrey Haack and Paislee Haack; 2 brothers, Mike (Sheryl) Haack of Hastings and Jerry, Jr. (Hilarie) Haack of Woodbine, Georgia; 3 sisters, Leslie (Bob) Worth of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Rebecca (Tim) Bussinger of Atkinson and Carol Berney of Aurora and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and special friends – Grover Camp, Bernadette Kasmanchy, Mark Logue, Frieda Schatz and Chris Paulson.
