Auroran’s ‘God-given talent’ helps others memories last

When Linda Simmons’ grandmother died in 2001, she decided to make a memory bear in her honor for herself, sister and father.
According to Simmons, she then put the tools she used to make the memory bears away until her mother passed away last January.
“When my grandma died, I made some and then I kind of put it away -- life happened,” she said. “Then when my mom passed away I thought to myself ‘I should get that back out again.’
