Aurora football sendoff and championship info

Aurora football fans can help send out the Huskies to Lincoln Tuesday morning the right way. The team will leave the school at 10:45 a.m. and head east down M Street, taking a trip around the square before heading out to Highway 14 and eventually I-80 on its way to Memorial Stadium.

Kickoff for the C-1 championship game is at 2:45. Husky fans will occupy the west side of Memorial Stadium and can enter through Gate 10 or Gate 3. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

As a reminder to fans, umbrellas and talcum/baby powder are not allowed in Memorial Stadium. Artificial noise makers such as thunder sticks, cow bells, air horns, whistles, etc. are prohibited at NSAA championship events. All students and spectators are required to wear shirts. Spectators are allowed to bring stadium seats. Clear bag policy will be enforced at Memorial Stadium.

Printing of the Nov. 21 edition of the News-Register will be delayed one day to provide timely coverage of the state championship game. Papers will be available early Wednesday morning.
