Aurora Art Walk Saturday

Community art enthusiasts will be in abundance Saturday for the free, self-guided Aurora Art Walk surrounding the courthouse square.

There are 26 artists scheduled to be in attendance displaying their artwork throughout 20 businesses for the fifth annual event, which is coordinated by the Hamilton County Foundation Fine Arts Committee.
Many art exhibits will be on display to view and/or buy, with live music provided by Myles Jasnowski from 1 to 4 p.m. A farmers market is also scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..

* Joe McHale and Sondra Jonson at the Aurora Fitness Center;

* Tammy Sorensen at Susan’s Books & Gifts;
* Susanne Osberg at Village Square;
* Vern Friesen at the Prairie Plains Resource Institute;

Community members are encouraged to join the festivities around the historical square starting at 10 a.m. and are also encouraged to visit the Plainsman Museum to view art work of former local artist Terence Duren.
